I was only at my new job for one week and then went to Pittsburgh to visit family. I guess the downside of starting a job in the summer is summer vacations, not ideal or convenient but tickets were already purchased and the trip was already planned. Reese did really well on the plane and I was so proud of myself for traveling with an infant and making my connecting flight (and nursing Reese in a family bathroom while she was in the baby bjorn, not easy). Reese swam in the pool, met her great grandpa and the rest of her family. It was a much needed trip. We ate well, watched movies and enjoyed temps in the 70' with minimal humidity! Of course, everyone loved her and I have already gotten calls and emails saying how great she was and how much she is missed!

This has been such a busy month for us--evidenced by--no blog post in forever! After so much debate and discussion I left my job at Trident Hospital in the ICU and started at the recovery room at St. Francis. It was a big decision and really hard to leave all my friends and my comfort zone but as I told everyone, it was the best decision for my non-work family. So far working 40 hours was pretty tiring but I am really happy with my decision and that I was brave enough to try something new and venture out. So, that was what my cryptic post was about. Not only did we have to decide if leaving was best but that decision meant daycare for Reesey-poo-poo. We ended up finding a nanny and it is working out really well, Reese is in great hands and gets lots of love while mommy brings home the bacon!
