Beyond sweet

Reese was so so excited to meet Santa. She asked for a fire truck and jibber jabbered away. Kate was a little more skeptical. She was super interested in the  photographer's toy duck, in the picture she is reaching out in slow motion to grab that duck once and for all.

I'm so embarrassed!

I haven't posted in months and months and months. I'm very sorry.  Interesting that my lost post was right before I went back to work from my maternity leave. Reese and Kate are great. Reese is a motor mouth and talks all day long. From the moment we open her door in the morning until we close her door for bed, she is non stop talking. Here are some highlights--

"Actually, I want yogurt not cottage cheese"

"Can I talk to you for a sec? I'm disappointed in you when you put me in time out."

"The grinch took all their presents and ornaments and he's NOT very nice"

Kate is about to sit up and might be crawling in the next month. I hold her most of the time so I'm sure if I set her down she would be further ahed but she is just too cute and cuddly not to. Kate is one of the best babies I have ever met and I am so glad she lives with me!

Reese loves to look at videos of herself or when we flip our iphone so the video is a live action shot. Here she is.

4th of July

We spent the morning at the pool and swam with friends. Then we headed home for lunch and naps. After we were rested we went to the neighborhood 4th of July parade and had dinner with Ed, Sarah and their 2 little girls. Maddie and Claire are best buds with Reese and we are so lucky they live so close by!

Beachwalker

We went to beachwalker park on Sunday morning. Kate slept in the carrier and Reese had so much fun running through the surf and the tide pools.
